FX randomly stops working on custom scripts?

So for my easter egg, I got FX's to play to help the players progress through the easter egg. It spawns the FX at the beginning of the game, like it is suppose to. But I noticed that sometimes, at random points, the FX will just disappear completely for no reason. The gun FX still works, its just FX that I spawned via script that disappears. This is a big problem, cause it makes the easter egg pretty hard to complete if they can't see the FX. It is kind of annoying as well, because some times the FX will stay there for the entire game, or until I do the step that makes the FX disappear. But other times, it disappears after round 1. Is there a fix for this?

It seems like everything is properly clipped but the FX still disappears randomly.

My guess is that your somehow going over the max fx draw limit which is like 2024 or something. If you launch your map with developer commands it should tell you if it is, or if its some other script related issue.

would it help if you threaded a function on each fx

have this function delete the fx and replace it after a certain period?

I remember stevie and stuffys Xmas map had the same issue, some fx stopped working

by that you mean when a player uses noclip and goes through a brush or patch or going though a normal clip?
