I fixed this by changing handModel to my dempsey hands, which they have said already. IDK it should work, the handModel in the weapon file shouldn't matter because it gets overrided in script. And I can't really advise you on what to do to _loadout.gsc anymore because this is what I did to mine:
Are your different view hands ( misty/russman ) rigged differently? Did you change anything in the model? Because if they are different, that would make sense why it breaks that way. They should all be the same rig if you just port them and don't touch anything.
