Hey,

Today I tried porting BO viewhands to World at war. I used the viewmodel_rus_prisoner_arms xmodel and placed it together with the materials mtl_viewmodel_rus_prisoner and mtl_viewmodel_rus_prisoner_alpha in my mods folder, also I put the images in my mod folder.

I added this to my mod.csv:

And I used this in loadout.gsc:

Now, I went over to the game and then... this happened:



I'm clueless what went wrong. I used Tom's xmodel utils, opened the .gdt in Asset Manager and used F10 to extract everything.

I'm going to take a giant shot and say that I think your tag origins are messed up. Don't know what's up with Toms Tool but the program messes up the model a lot sometimes.

Well I don't really know I just used it and all the other models work normally correct.

And besides that i followed http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=2496.0 and did almost the exact same steps.

Look at the viewhands in Toms program and tell me if the lines are not connecting to the hands at all?

Huh that's weird your hands should work I always get this issue when my hands are messed up like in the picture I showed.

Well another reason this could be happening is due to the gun you're holding not having proper anims.

how did you set the model type on asset manager? did you make it animated or viewhands because that's what happens when you set it to animated.
