Hi so I purchased a new PC and I am transferring everything over to it from the old and here’s how I did the transfer of WaW
I installed WaW from the disk (yes I know shame on me) to the new PC and dragged all the files from my root into the new root adding in all my stuff automatically.
Well after that when opening Launcher it does this
The game its self works as well as downloaded maps, my mods, and Radiant just not Launcher.
I believe its just trying to call from the old PC how would I put it to the new and work properly?
EDIT: Hold up... I get a error building the mod now

I find it weird, I could have 20 tabs open in Chrome, Maya, etc, open and memory usuage at 60-70% and I don't get the error, but then I might be at 20% memory usuage and only maybe Chat open and it gives me the error..
Also why did you take me off as Best Answer? lol that error is irrelevant from the original, and I answered the original, but hey you're the OP.

I have no other programs open lol and the reason I took it off is so someone would still come back because it still doesnt work. Ill add back when fixed.

If you have steam running in the background, close it via task manager. That's usually what does it for me.
If you want scripts / features made for you, then contact me by PM or email / skype etc it will cost you tho so if you have no intention of reciprocating don't even waste my time

That seems to have done it. Thats strange though because Im running it threw the disk and I dont even have it for steam.
this happens a lot with games that "are also" on steam
My rocksmith copy for example, Not steam, but still makes steam open? lol
Pending updates on steam also make that error come up. I often have to close and reopen steam, just to find out there was an update waiting. Then launcher works normally again

Same thing happens to me. The other day, I had 4 tabs of chrome open, AssMan, AssView, Radiant, 3 instances of folders open and steam and it compiled fine. But earlier today all I had open was steam and launcher and I got the error out of nowhere

I think its just a steam thing. No particular reason for it, but it tends to effect a lot of other programs in odd ways
I think its just because its a kind of "companion" app really, designed to work alongside, or over other things. Unfortunately not perfect, but quickly resetting it isnt really any trouble
It effects just about everything for me sometimes, ironically except itself lol
