On the 2 laptops Ive tested on the map runs smoothly. On the two desktops Ive had people test on it crashes right before the game starts. freaking out a little dont know how to fix this

I cut down the file size from 327 MB to 284 MB and it didnt fix this please help!

Recently i downloaded a map from here that crashed my PC the first time i tried to load and then second time worked no problem. When they test the map do they try to load more than one time? Could it be the OS on the desktops ( win 8 ) or perhaps the GFX settings are too high for such a detailed map . Good luck fixing that .

I'm assuming this is your contest map?  The map is probably too fancy, try condensing your scripts with toms tool. Now this you probably already know, make as few brushes going into each other as possible. Good luck, I hope you can fix this.

Okay so I got shrunk a 46 MB image lol, and a 35 MB xmodel. it worked on a desktop not tested before. ill try on my roommates computer today. and ill give that script shrinker a try

well its 5 for 6 now. just my roommates computer that has way better specs is having issues loading it
