basically I want the lighting flash that lights up the area while before you here thunder? is that something I can activate in _weather? dont really understand _weather.gsc.. or do I just play a huge white flash fx?

as far as i remember that flash is the suncolor turned white and turning up the intensity

It was in weather.gsc somewhere, already scripted, just needs calling i believe
I cant link you to it as my work PC blocks ZM, but I think youll find what you need there
