Hello everyone, I have made a mod that allows you to do the entire moon easter egg solo!
How To Install
Go to your Call of Duty Black Ops installation folder
Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops
And then open Zone then Common and make a backup of "zombie_moon_patch.FF"
Download and extract the mod and replace the "zombie_moon_patch.FF" in
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops\Zone\Common with the one in the mod

To do the full easter egg you MUST be playing as Richtofen.
If you start off as Richtofen you might not have the rod, so just keep pressing "Restart Level" untill it gives you Richtofen again.
If the mod worked you should see the golden rod in your inventory at the bottom of the screen.
And Just do the Easter Egg as you would usually do

*Note* Quick Revive isn't permanent when you go down you will lose it, but you will keep all the other perks!

This version will allow you to do the Easter egg even if you don't have the COTD or Shangri-la achievements

I know that, but I mean a legit way without using developer codes. Plus the only reason it MUST be done 4 player is so you can activate the stupid buttons before every step, other than that I believe everything you can do solo. If there was a way to change that so say you have to hit all 4 buttons in like 5 seconds or whatever, then that could work.

I know that, but I mean a legit way without using developer codes. Plus the only reason it MUST be done 4 player is so you can activate the stupid buttons before every step, other than that I believe everything you can do solo. If there was a way to change that so say you have to hit all 4 buttons in like 5 seconds or whatever, then that could work.you could get past stupid buttons like you say but get stuck on step 1 which needs you to stand on matching slabs at diff locations on map . the dev guide mentions egg_skit_travel which i guess is treyarchs name for the ee and may be a clue to finding how to achieve egg solo without using dev guide , til then its only way to do it solo .
personally i have no problem using a dev guide if it lets me do ee . its a shame treyarch didnt let you do this solo as it is tremendous fun.and finally gonna be trying the moon ee ,did the solo egg on this when it came out ,be nice to see the ending solo as well

Update: This version will allow you to do the Easter egg even if you don't have the COTD or Shangri-la achievementsCrashes saying can't find zombie quest or something like that
