Problem with Asset Manager

Hey
I keep getting this problem with the asset manager that is stopping me from adding custom textures to my map.



I have looked around and any other solutions have been to update the .net framework and I have the most up to date version of it. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Honestly I can barely see the image BUT here's what you need to do from the looks of it:

In the ORIGINAL .DDS file, REMOVE ANY CAPS.

When you hit NEW ENTRY on Asset, you need to enter in the EXACT name of the .DDS before you open it in *Color Map*.
So I saw something like "bunkersomething" as the asset but then saw the image file opened as "BunkerSomthing.dds" As you notice, there capital letters.

This could potentially be the problem. I see nothing else that can cause it from this image.
Next time try to zoom in a bit with the magnifier or something. :)

Hope it works and if it does, Hit BEST ANSWER!  :D

Oh and a quick edit, It can also be that you did not change the dimensions for the image before turning it into a .DDS.
There can be many others we need a bit more information but try what I told you to do first then reply.

Hi
I have tried re-sizing the image to 512x512 (Im sure I read somewhere that is an ok number to have it sized to) and also removed all caps from the image name.
Here is the image a bit more focused in on the log and settings


It says something about version number and dll so I think this is a problem with the actual problem as opposed to the settings I have set.

I thought about this for a bit and came up with 2 solutions but I need to know these things:

After you Converted the image, did you make an .IWI in the Raw/Images folder? Is there a "bunkerdoor.IWI" file? If so, just ignore this error then. If not, do this:

Reinstall the mod tools. It doesn't seem like you installed them correctly "OR" it may have missed and not copied something important in the "BIN", or "RAW" Folders.

Try to Re-install and get back to us. :)

this error has nothing to do with iwi sizes this is a DLL problem its saying converters version of DLL dose not match the dll for the launcher. make sure you installed the models in this order

1.0 (main files)
1.1
1.2
1.3
1.4
i would also advise by installing sniperbolts tutorial prefabs last

in that order or find a pre-patched file download with all updates included

So it just leads back to my 2nd suggestion of re-installing.

If you want a MOD TOOLS Bundle, you'll find one on TMG. That's where I got mine from and nothing is missing from it. From 1.0 to 1.4.

He stated he has that installed and he's up-to-date with it. All he needs to do now is re-install the mod tools.

Glad it worked out for ya :)

As a little tip, once I got my mod tools working properly and error free, I copied the entire "Call of duty 5 - World at War" directory

Later when i had a issue I was able to just copy it straight back over. Not great if youve added lots of custom stuff, but just incase anything goes wrong early on
