it means that too many FX are being loaded into your map.

Fixing is easy. open MAPNAME.csv in zone_source and get rid of fx,(FX_NAME)'s. If your using the UGX mod then i don't know what fx you would need to remove.

so i have done this and looked back at previous posts on the same subject and removed Waw gone in exchange for my Blops guns etc but im stil getting this error.

i have edited mapname_fx.gsc also :(

i have edited mapname_fx.gsc also :(

mapname_fx.gsc isn't the issue. The issue is that way too many FX is being called in MAPNAME.csv and dlc3_code.csc.

Make backups before you editing something important!

You can remove fx from either _zombiemode.csv mapname.csv mapname_patch.csv or DLC3.csv

I would suggest to remove fx from mapname.csv first.
go to that file which can be found in root\zone_source\mapname.csv\

and open it, and look for the lines that begins with

fx,

Depending on how many fx you are over the limit, you can remove 1 or 3 fx to begin with and see if it works.
By removing fx you can either comment it out so the game just ignore that line by adding // at the very beginning of the fx line. Or you can delete the line completely, but I prefer slashing it out. So if you see any line with fx like this as an example,

fx,bio/player/fx_footstep_mud

Make it look like this

This will make the game to ignore that line.
Or you can just delete the whole line copletely, but I prefer slashing it out.

Yes, yes you did, but I just wanted to make clear instructions. I mean maybe there are mappers who don't know a thing about this so I wanted to make these instructions because there can be more people who don't know this who maybe look at this post right now.  :)

I have by passed almost all Waw weapons, dog related stuff and teleporters but I'm still over😕I have recompiled everything aswell :(

Did you remove from mapname.csv? Remove every fx that you know you are not using in that file. When I got to the limit, I removed every stock fx in mymapname.csv and then it worked.
