Hi guys I started with a small map but I have gone a bit overboard and now have 7 zones. I want to make more they all have blocker doors and spawn none get stuck anywhere. However when I am in my first zone ( start_zone they spawn all over and when I am in any other zone they stop spawning from start. I have all zones included in the .gsc file as adjacent zones.
Has anyone got any suggestions on this or setting zones up optimally.

Ok I changed from 7 zones to 3 . By changing start zone to start 2 .3.4 and blocking spawners with a sliding door. I think I had too many zones in a small area.  Previously I have been loading from round 54 ( for spawn test ) and that problem only occurs when it is that round but from round 1 the spawns work fine.

Yes it fixed that problem with the start zone but I still cannot get them to spawn specifically in tbe zone the player is in. As they seem to spawn all over the map and it takes a while for them to get to the desired area. I would not consider that the best answer as the problem is still there. I have also tried adding script structs to the zones but that made them spawn before I opened the door to the area. When I get a consistent solution to this I wil post it. The last thing I could try is in the gsc file adding adjacent zone after that I am stuck.

If the KVPs on the spawners match the zones, then this wouldnt happen. Id suggest checking

BTW in WaW, they spawn in your immediate zone, and I believe also spawn in any adjacent zones

So If they are all set as adjacent to "start_zone" and they are all "active" they would spawn in "all", But any zones that are not directly adjacent would not - assuming you are "in" start_zone"

I have 9 rooms in total . First I had them all named seperately and added as adjacent. Then I tried having start 2,3 and 4 and stop them spawning with the doors and they spawn the same in both those methods. It is not slow to spawn but I have played a lot more black op zombies than waw . Like in der reise if I stay in thompson room they only spawn 5 windows I would like map to be like that as I know some players like to have "spawn control" which offers different strategy options but when my map is all open they spawn far away. Is it possible that changing from 24 per wave to 32 could cause this ? My map is currentlt set up for multiple game play styles including camp areas and routes for running. So when a player is camping I want more pressure on the player than I currently have. I will try your suggestion and go thru my spawners and confirm they are zoned correctly.

I have taken examples of zones from looking at the der reise .gsc file so now I will try to use that as an example .the file is nazi_zombie_factory.gsc located in map source prefab folder. I will mark this as best answer good luck zoning :)
