Testing new map

I am new to using ugx and so far enjoying it greatly. I have run into a rather small issue though.. Is there a way to test your map? What I mean by this is that before I started with ugx I could run a map in dev mode and have like 500000 points at start to run around and test everything in my map to be sure it worked, and then change it back down to 500 before packaging it. Is there a way to do this with ugx?

You do it the same way you would for any other map

Okay, thanks for the reply... however as I said already the previous maps I have attempted were already set to 500000 points for testing and then I had to edit the _zombiemode file to change it 500. This is not working since I installed ugx ... thus my asking if there was a way to do it with ugx. I also know you could use a console cheat as a work around except you cant with ugx as cheats are disabled too.

So I ask again... How to change my starting amount when using ugx?

I must have misread or not understood all of what you said originally. I'm not sure how to reset it, you could try checking to see if there's anything on the forum, such as a solved post from someone with the same problem.

Modify _zombiemode.gsc in one of the .iwd's, that are in your mods folder

In _zombiemode.gsc there is a setting called something like "start_score". Search for that or just search for 500000 or whatever its set at. Change to 500.

its still the exact same. Edit the variable in _zombiemode.gsc
