[SOLVED]How do i remove fall damage??

If anyone knows how to remove fall damage,please help $:-\$

Set bg_fallDamageMinHeight to some ridiculously high number and set bg_fallDamageMaxHeight to bg_fallDamageMinHeight +1 (in order to not get an error in console).

Note: This doesn't entirely "disable" it, it just makes the requirement high and no idea how you'd fall 99,999 meters in CoD.

i need to do it for the map itself,so anyone who plays the map will have it like that,are you sure i should be doing it in the console?

If you're trying to do it for a specified player, pretty sure it won't be possible.
If you want to do it on everyone set this by script using the function setDvar("dvar", "value");

In _zombiemode.gsc, in the player_damage_override function, you can find:

Code Snippet

Plaintext

	if( sMeansOfDeath == "MOD_FALLING" )
	{
		sMeansOfDeath = "MOD_EXPLOSIVE";
	}

and change it to:

	if( sMeansOfDeath == "MOD_FALLING" )
	{
		iDamage = 0; //maybe not needed
		return;
		//sMeansOfDeath = "MOD_EXPLOSIVE";
	}

I think you still get a hit marker though.

if you wanted it for a point in the map where the player falls from a great height then on the landing area just put a clip on the floor 0.25 above the ground its self and that will stop you taking damage from that fall and that fall only

Funny thing,there were some clips around that spot..and i even accidently fell on one,yet i didn't think of putting one on the floor,thanks!

not a problem man. just make sure that you cover the whole area you want and test it cause some players like myself will try and over jump it to see if i can die that way
