umm okay on my radiant my skybox before was skyboxmodel skybox_pe1, i changed it from skybox_pe1 to skybox_nightfire, then back to skybox_pe1 and when i tried to open up radiant it crashed, said it failed but i can obviously see that the skybox loaded back up in my radiant but wtf. Im really pissed for this happening and really need help on this. There has to be a way to fix, i do i have a back up but the thing is that i overwrited the bak file to the original file and still doesn't work, is there something i can press in radiant in preferences that changes the skybox so my map isn't messed up please help

Open your .map file up in Notepad++ and search for 'skybox', change the name to the correct one there. Hopefully it should then open again in Radiant.

Yeah, change the skybox to working one and remove northyaw, it isnt needed
