How do I put a weapon from 1 custom map to another?

I have been trying to find a way to get some weapons from other maps and put it into another
Heres what i have been thinking

How do I take the staffs from lorkeep and put it into a map like stairwaytohell?
lorkeep is very laggy for me so i wanted to take their staffs and put it into my fav map which is stairwaytohell

this is the very issue i stated before... started with "how do i remove the dogs for just me... and all my friends and prob anyone i can reach on the interwebs......
Now "how do i just take what i like from some peoples work, and just take the "map" from someone else, and just make my own concoction
turning off dogs is one thing, but this is practically taking one guys "map" that he made entirely himself, another guys weapons - again made all by himself and i believe even has custom anims -
rather than just MAKE YOUR OWN MAP
dunno why we waste our time making stuff if people are just gonna download it, go "nah" and rip it apart...
