I've just ran into a bit of a problem with posting replies on a topic with IE. I don't know what caused it, but in short, something with the UGX site was causing my computer to use 100% of it's CPU. If I click off of IE or switch tabs, it goes down to about 5%.

I knew people hate IE but to create an entire page dedicated to it... lol

I'm kind of stuck using IE though. Firefox freezes every 10 seconds when loading a flash video and chrome completely rapes my CPU and Ram into pieces. Plus, both FireFox and Chrome are slower than IE.

Something's wrong with your computer then - both of those browsers perform fine, and are faster than IE.

I'd do a browser speed test if I could find a screen capture software that captures windows desktop, just to show that, for me, IE is faster, more efficient, and more smooth in performance overall. As I have said in another topic, what takes 45% of my CPU on Chrome or FireFox takes 15% with IE. Not that it really even matters, all I care about is not having 100% of my cpu being used on posting a reply. lol

Bro, I think we have the same problem. All the info from the left side of the screen is gone for me. I can't see who's online, who's been on for the most time, etc that section is just gone for me. Isn't that the problem you have? Doesn't matter what browser I use or even what computer I'm using.

i was just about to post about that same exact problem. I just noticed it too, and it is messed up on firefox and chrome.

It has something to with your guys' custom usergroups but I haven't been able to figure out what it is.
