this nasty peice of malware that locks your computer and infects you with other malware is lerking around facebook, skype and youtube again please be very wary. PLEASE STAY FROM CHANNELS LIKE: MHUGD AND PROSYNDICATEv2 PLEASE I BEG YOU TO STAY AWAY YOU WILL GET INFECTED

step 1 - system restore

step 2 - disconnect from internet right away

step 3 - fully scan your computer and it should remove the koobface malware

step 4 - uninstall end.exe in your programs list

step 5 - connect to the internet and scan again

step 6 - click remove threats when it comes up and bang your done hope this helps because i was infected with this malware virus and it locked my pc

if it locks your pc open boot menu as soon as your computer starts and click hdd f and it should boot up and from there follow the top steps Thanks
also check if you have more then one winlogons in you process directory because if there is more then one you have been keylogged

there is a code i made to get rid off it as soon as possible just make a new txt document and name it root.csv and paste that in it and youll be good to go

 to try and prevent getting this malware Do not click links with .en at the end of the url and also do not click links that say " IS this you -NAME-* and to tell if th elink is disguised before you click it right click and it should have a properties if there is no properties you ok because if there is properties its connected to some wankers computer who could screw your computer and life up if you have bank details stored. still doent beat the 2010 fb virus. i cant even get to the starting windows screen on my old pc, it goes to command promt and all the commands are deleted.

i've noticed something wrong with youtube of late, it loads, starts to play, then reloads again and then requires me to click the video to play it.  probably just a bug that the monkeys at youtube need to fix.

I truly feel sorry for anyone who falls for fake demands from viruses - the sad reality is that the viruses wouldn't work that way if it wasn't an effective method of making money from people.

Well a pc isn't a click and work machine.
It needs to be maintained. And in these modern days it's much more easier. Windows Live Update, Firewall, Anti Vir, Anti Malware and a brain.
