Yesterday I started a WIP of my updated re-release (Labyrinth V2).
It was obvious right from the start that its not 100% wanted or desired because, again, its a re-release.
I was told by a few members that I should just start anew and do something different.
I overreacted and instantly got angry and wanted the WIP taken down.

The thing is after I cooled down I realized what I've done and after I post a issue or needing help the UGX community would point and say "there he is that's the kid that got his WIP taken off" or something along those lines haha.

I came to understand I went about the whole deal wrong.

Yes I have been working on this for months and it truly means a lot to me BUT I have to understand that not everyone would want this.

I had taken the few comments too seriously and I apologize to those members.

I felt I needed to write this because I truly love the UGX community and everything everyone has helped me with.

The WIP is still down I don't think its a good idea to post it again (its on another site just use Google) but I'm sure the download will make it on here within the next few weeks (for the people that might not have played Labyrinth).

Again I am sorry and I wish no hard feelings to or from you guys :)

Hey buddy, we've all said some things that we're not proud of, things we wish we could take back. Just don't make a habit of doing what you did and everything will be just fine. There are people here who have forgiven me for saying things and I'm very thankful for it. It takes guts to admit when we mess up. All that to say...let's hug it out.

One thing about this community is not everyone is going to enjoy what you are creating. If you have fun making the map then that's all that matters, if they don't like it, then they don't have to download it.

I saw the WIP and the map looked interesting, I didn't play the first version but was excited to see this version.

You will love it :) It will be way better than the original

No need to apologise, no-one likes being their work being criticised, but that's the point of making a WIP; to get feedback either good or bad, you don't have to agree with it (and you can argue against it if you think it's unfair), you can never please everybody. If you think their points are invalid then refute them, if you think they have a point then take it on board, don't just have a meltdown and take it heart Anyway +1 for being man enough to realise you overreacted and making this topic.

lol yea just try to ignore rather than react, one thing i learn more and more everyday is its rare to get "constructive advice" in forums in a "pleasant" way lol 

Just take all these people commenting on random maps "will be better than leviathan" - ouch... right in the pride there lol
