I was just wondering how much you had to donate to beta test ugx mod v1.1, because in the last video that you guys made, you mentioned something about donators being able to test the mod. I know beta testing the map will probably take another couple weeks, but I just wanted to know now. thank you in advance, i love ugxxxx!!!

It is illegal to pay for custom content created using the Mapping tools. This includes early access to the content.

•   If you decide to make available the use of the New Game Materials created by you to other gamers, you agree to do so solely without charge.

There is no way to buy your way into the beta. You have to be special to get early access

Indeed, i remember him saying that in a video aswell.

To be honest though, Activision doesn't even enforce these legal rules anymore, they like to stay away from the modding community as much as possible.

Some clarifications:

To get the donor status you need to donate at least $4 USD ( excluding the fee, so $5 USD is safe )

As a donator, you get several advantages:

• If you want, you will be visible on the donation wall.
• You get access to the Donator group and access to the donator forum section.
• You get hints and early preview of new stuff.
• You get early access to UGX projects. ( Referring to other projects than the UGX Mod )

But as far as I know there isn't a closed beta ( donor beta ) planned but I might be wrong with this.
I push this to the whole time to get this sorted out

I just want to point out that you don't have to pay to get the content.
Because this would be against the Agreement with Activtions / Treyarch.

We use donors as alpha testers for projects sometimes as a thank you. You are donating to us, and in return we choose to honor your contribution with a user class, special forum section, and whatever we post inside this forum section. We are not selling anything, nor are we advertising it as such. Donors get special stuff and our eternal love , as it says on the page. I can't say any more on that.

And yes, I did say on YouTube that donors will get the first test build. This refers back to my first sentence where we sometimes use donors as a test group.

I cannot answer this question any more accurately than what I just wrote. If you want to donate, do it to help us, not because you think you will get access to map/mod downloads.
