Your cpu is pretty good and your graphics card is alright too. Plenty of ram as well. You should have no problem running on med-high settings.

I was able to play the beta on a shitty laptop with intel integrated graphics (even though on the lowest resolution and settings @ 20 fps lol) so most people who have a half decent pc should be good to go for bo3.

Thank you.

Yeah i played the beta and on very high settings it was a bit laggy in some parts but it was playable.. But i wasnt sure if the full game was more laggy than the beta? I just thought the lag was down to the bad servers and all the players.. so i never go on what a beta's can do on my computer just incase..

Thank for the help though! Hopefully i dont go and spend loads of money on a game that wont be playable.. since im only getting this for zombies and campaign

Maybe 720P with medium settings. It really isn't all that great of a GPU for gaming.

The Black Ops 3 beta(if thats what your talking about) didn't have optimized drivers for it. Optimized drivers usually provide 10-20% performance increase and stuttering/crashing/freeze fixes related to GPU.

Yeah your above the recommended on almoast all aspects so you should definately be good. If it's not running quite smooth enough just lower your AA and/or lower the textures a bit. Like DD said, the game should actually be better optimized than the beta..  :)

On the performance side of things? Yeah, it shouldn't be too bad if you don't mind playing it as 720P.

I've got an i5, 4gb RAM and a GTX 750 (2GB), what settings do you reckon I could handle? I didn't think it would be worth getting on PC as I didn't think I'd be able to run it properly, but if I can play it in 1080p with decent settings (wouldn't mind upgrading my RAM if need be) then I might not get a PS4.

the lower the resolution you try to play in, the less strain on your GPU

with a super low resolution, and extra visual features disabled, most pcs will still run it, just maybe not at "optimim" performance

If you try running 1080 on a shitty GPU, your gonna hit instant problems, but 1024 x 768, much more likely to run

This will most likely run it,but for updating your ram is actually really simple, and generally very cheap. Just make sure they match ( 2x 4gb sticks, not one 8gb and one 4gb )

4 gb is usually the bare minimum these days, but plenty still for actually running the games

Yeh I don't mind upgrading my RAM (never really needed much RAM tbh, that's just for running lots of shit at the same time isn't it?) but I'm not up for upgrading my CPU or GPU. If I can handle BO3 on high-ish settings then I'm seriously gonna consider not getting a console and just getting it on PC.

Well i can tell you right now that 4GB isn't going to cut it. From my experience in the beta your going to need 8GB atleast as when i played it my ram usage but about 6.5GB with the game alone. Though keep in mind this was on Windows 7, which consumes almost a GB more than Windows 10 but still... you probably shouldn't chance it.

For the 750... depends on the version you have. If you have the 2GB VRAM version you might be able to turn the texture detail up a bit but your really pushing it. Black Ops 3 eats up VRAM up aswell for some reason.

I wouldn't even try turning up the details above the lowest settings if you only got the 1GB model.

Its for storing program data. Everything in a game consumers memory, from models to textures to sound assets.

Yes, for non gaming purposes more ram would let you be able to have more programs open but with games that have high quality HD models, textures, etc it can and will consume your RAM just as normal programs would.

Yeh 2GB version. So if I upgraded my RAM to 8GB or so I could run it in 1080p on decent graphical settings then? I'm on Win 8.1 btw.
