So what's everyone's favorite browser/add-on and why?
i'll start it off:
Favorite browser: Internet Explorer
Why: Light-weight and uses lowest amount of CPU in comparison to other browsers. What takes 45% of my single core computer in Chrome takes 15% in Internet explorer, and flash videos load faster.
Favorite add-on: Adblock plus
Why: keeps harmful advertisements from harming my computer. Reduces loading times.

I can't say. It doesn't mean it's faster just because it is using less CPU / RAM!
The reason why IE might use less is that it's just built for Windows and of course MS is using all it's tricks to boost the performance for IE.
I hate IE in general because it's the browser where people have most issues with. It doesn't support latest (and important) technologies and it takes longer to update / fix security issues.
