After a bit of testing and more menu editing I managed to exchange my ingame menu with one that is actually in the main menu. So basically you are taken to this screen when you press the solo button on the main menu:

I will be doing a similar menu for the coop lobby as well.

Man JBird, that is one sweet looking menu and I'm loving all the options, that is going to make for some serious replayability. I tip my hat to you.
