In the 21st century, the Umbrella corporation has become the largest commercial entity in the United states. 9 out of 10 of every home contained its products. In public it is the world's largest leading supplier in computer technology, medical products, and healthcare. Unknown, even to its own employees, its massive products are generated by: military technology, genetic experiments, and viral weaponry.

After two incidents with the hive, the Umbrella corporation launched a missal to destroy Raccoon city and the hive, which lays beneath it. They thought the missal destroyed the hive, but the hive stayed intact except for a few power failures. The Umbrella corporation then put together a team of the best soldiers that money could buy. This team consisted of a German that was a quick learner and a deadly shot, a Russian which has a drinking problem but still can take out several armies by himself if needed, an american who wants to serve his country and save the world at whatever cost, and a Japanese person who doesn't need explanation, just the look of his eyes makes you paralyzed. This team's job was to blow up the hive from the inside out. Can they do it or will they join the other corpses that are roaming around the hive looking for something to eat.
