Is anyone here good at converting sounds?
For some reason my modsound doesn't like to cooperate and I have only managed to convert 2 of the black ops vox files
... there are about 1500.

Overrun Update: scripting update

Firesale:
Finished scripting firesale, did a bunch of testing on it and also got the televisions to switch to a firesale channel when its active.
This is definitely going to be one of the main things I need people to check for bugs when I release the beta.
I'd also like to thank YaPh1l for the help on the hint string issue I was having.
Firesale Features: (sounds basic enough, but took me a while to script)
- sets the cost to 10 points and activates all box locations
- plays the firesale vox file and firesale song
- televisions play the firesale channel

Solo Quick Revive:
Finished scripting solo quick revive, and added script structs around the map.
Depending on what zone you are in, the zombies will go to that struct when you are downed instead of piling around you.
Also I have scripted quick revive to only be purchasable 3 times (help from swazzy), once purchased 3 times the machine will float in the air and disappear just like in black ops.

Perk Limit & Drop:
A four perk limit was added, but don't worry a perk drop has also been scripted making it possible to get all perks.
This drop has been modified to be a rare spawn.



I am getting really close to releasing this beta, and I have only two things left on my list of things to do.

Task List:
- finish adjusting my scripts for the ballistic knifes
- port character sound files

[Note: if anyone is able to convert the vox sounds for the mod I would greatly appreciate it. The modsound builder is not working properly and I have only managed to convert 2 sounds.]

Weapons Scripts Update:

Claymores:

Claymore Features:
- can be picked back up
- respond better with zombie presences
- players are given claymores with max ammo
- hud has been updated to black ops version

Ballistic Knives:

Ballistic Knife Features:
- when the knife impacts a surface (including zombie) it will stick to it
- can be picked back up
- when the sickle is purchased the player will switch the ballistic knife with the sickle variant
- when upgraded (The Krauss Refibrillator), the user can shoot a teammate to revive them (script is made, but still need to test)

Crossbow:

Crossbow Features:
- when the bolt impacts a surface (including zombie) it will stick to it
- flashes and creates beep noise as timer counts down
- when upgraded (Awful Lawton), zombies will be attracted to the bolt's location
- when the player is hit by explosion, they take only grenade damage
- phd flopper prevents damage

Semtex Grenades:

Semtex Features:
- purchased off the wall and replace the m67 frag
- once purchased, the user will receive 2 grenades every round
- when the semtex impacts a surface (including zombie) it will stick to it
- flashes and creates beep noise as timer counts down
- when player is hit by explosion, they take only grenade damage
- phd flopper prevents damage

[Note: I am just about done this mod, all that is left is the character vox files. If someone is able to help convert the sounds I would greatly appreciate it]

I thought of that, but in Black Ops they had it where you had to pick them up yourself.

i think it's in main\english and the iwd it's in is localized English 4 or 5 I think

oh I have the bo mod tools im just converting all 4000+ sounds lol
im just trying to fig out what ones are the players talking

eh ill just get all the vox you can pick and choose what you want later .. so you have Skype

are u converting them? Cause I have the sound files I just can get them to convert
