There is a special new update in the UGX Map Manager for you to try. This update is currently UNTESTED but will hopefully solve the problem. To get the update, first update your UGX Christmas installation to the latest version (1.4). Next, install UGX Christmas (CRASH VER.). The crash will hopefully be fixed.

If your CoDWaW does not crash when booting UGX Christmas, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SEPARATE UPDATE.

okay so i just downloaded the crash version of ugx christmas .... so do i just move the mod.ff file from the crash folder to the original ugx christmas folder ??? .... sorry i just started playin custom maps a couple weeks ago

There should not be a crash folder... the crash ver. merges with the standard ugx_christmas folder. Open your Map Manager and you should see Crash Ver. in the list again -  redownload it.

If it's still crashing, then the problem isn't what I thought it was. Do me a favor and delete your mod.ff file from C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Activision\CodWaW\mods\ugx_christmas\ and see if that solves anything.

Also, do you have a Skype or Xfire name?

okay i deleted it .... then launched it and tried launching it through my console ... then a script compile error shows up "could not find script'_maps/_zombiemode_powerups" .... and my skype name should be justin balczak

The mod won't play without the assets inside that mod.ff but I wanted to see if the crash stops when that isn't loaded - which it did. I will add you on Skype and work with you personally later today to see if we can get this fixed for everyone.

hi so ive downloaded the map manager and i have all the other maps up and working ... cabin, and bar, and forts i think ..... but whenever i launch the christmas mod ... my world at war crashes and shuts down ... does anybody now how to help ??

Download the newest 1.5 update for UGX Christmas from the UGX Map Manager and your crash issue will be fixed.

The only reason that the Manager wouldn't let you install a map is because you are not running it as admin (right click the program and click "Run As Administrator"). If that still doesn't work, you either have really high security settings or you have an extremely weird computer setup.
