I'm getting an issue with any new maps I compile where it freezes every couple of seconds/minutes. I'm not completely sure what the problem is but I've narrowed it down to something wrong to a script due to the console saying:

script runtime error: potential infinite loop in script - killing thread

It shows up every time the game freezes and I tried with developer 1 and developer_script 1 on but the game would crash upon the first freeze. Anyone have any ideas?

Often, this error is a result of a wrong zone setup where the stuff in the map and the stuff set up in the script are different from each other.

Ok, that's what I thought might be wrong. I'll take a look and see if that's the case.

this also happens when you comment out soundalias'. The game tries to play the sound because a script says so, but there's nothing to play so it just gets an inf loop error and causes freezing.

What deathclonic said was true and I fixed it. Now it doesn't freeze anymore.

a slight stutter at the begging isn't a huge problem anyway.

Yeah it's that error but it isn't only at the beginning, its throughout the game whenever the player is going to say something.
