I'm a bit confused here... Why am I getting this out of about a max of 25MBps?

The server is in Chicago, and if you're actually located in Russia I would imagine you would not be getting a great throughput to Chicago. Just remember that even though you have a 25mb/s connection, you're not going to encounter a 25mb/s pipe all the way around the world.

Not sure why I had my country set to Russia, but I live about 5 or 6 hours from Chicago.

i have 1mb and my download speed with the map manager is 90-200kb sometimes i get 300 kb but only for a few seconds

Something tells me that your download speed has more to do with the 1MBps speed than anything else.

Well our server certainly doesn't have a 25mb/s throughput, and you'll find that not many servers under a triple-digit monthly price-range do. Our throughput also heavily depends on how many people are downloading maps at a time, and the load on our semi-shared VPS during peak hours.

Hey any idea why I only get 25kbs per second?My internet download is really fast yet it takes 5 hours to download one map what the heck?

It's a bug that a few people (including myself) are encountering with the US server. Try the EU server in the meantime while we work on fixing the issue.
