SVU scope not attaching to gun

So, I dragged tag_clip (for the clip) and tag_scope (for the scope) onto j_gun, but for some reason, only the clip attaches. I tried re-exporting and retrying a few times but it still doesn't work. Thanks in advance for your help! (Mute the video, the sound doesn't work)

you didn't accidently forgot to bind the skin for the scope first did you?

Try first selecting tag_scope in the list, then j_gun and then click the 'parent' icon ( in the general-tab ), but the effect is the same i think

You will need to bind it yourself

Currently the meshes are not "connected" so if you move one the other will be left behind

In the polygon tab (might be animation i forget) you need to click the "skin" option then smooth bind - cant remember the specifics im afraid. I think Rollons video explains this though

That's in the animation menu at the top. select all the meshes from the scope, after that tag_scope and then in the menu select skin->bind skin->smooth bind
after that the scope meshes should be attatched to tag_scope, and it should work like you did before.

, Stuffy gave you the "entire" answer whereas mine was pretty vague
