I'm writing this with the hope of somebody actually coming to reply to this and help.........
so i encountered an error on my launcher
when im trying to compile my map (map and map_patch)

and for my mod on the mod builder when i compile it pops me this:

so basically to both cases the compiling stops instantly after these texts pop....
it doesnt compile anything thats what im saying......

how can mod tools become useless all the sudden?

The leak error usually because a light or prefab is outside the skybox.

how is that possible ? xD
i mean the skybox covers like the complete 3d view how can a light get out of this boundary?
anyway i had to reinstall the game and mod tools ...... the problem was fixed ..... but now only the mod builder doesnt compile...... it cant read the changes i make to the mod for some reason......
i dont wanna reinstall everything again

Skybox -- hollow caulk box that has a sky texture on the inside faces.

There are a few -1073 errors.
5000 + structural brushes can cause it( press m in radiant to see how many brushes). But your launcher had a leaked error too so its prob from launcher trying to compile a map with either an ent outside the skybox or no caulk skybox at all.

if you dont have a hollow caulk box around your map with a sky texture on the inside faces then add one.

Open map source. Organize by date.
Compile and as soon as the "leaked" error shows it makes a lin file.
Copy and paste it (ctrl c ctrl v)it will merge into the error file so be quick.
Rename it back to mapname.lin.
Load radiant. Load map. Load lin.

It will draw a red line around radiant to the problem. Its mainly used for portals but it should point to the problem.

as i said the problem is not the map compiler....... but the mod builder (the thing that builds the weapons, images, sounds etc.)...... my map is fine and compiles just as fine just with the reinstallation i did :P

Maybe you are trying to use mod builder to compile a bad custom model or anim.
it does......
but i have checked every model i have ported.... what im saying is... first time i had no errors and all the sudden it stops to ver 368 yada yada..... doesnt compile jack shit
and now it doesnt even search for all materials xD
and as i said before....... it doesnt even check the changes i make xD
