My lighting is a bit weird, shadows are very dark and you cannot see anything in them.

How do i fix this?

Try this : Right click on your toolbar on the camera view window and click exposure and then click the lightening bolt.

I did that. This is the result of that. I'm wondering if there is a setting i need  to have or something.

Have you changed any sun settings, or are these all default settings?

Default. From the first time I opened radiant.

are you making sure the light button is checked when compiling your map?

Yes. I check compile, light and link. I don't think that would be the problem since it happens inside the level editor as well.

are you exporting your light? as in when closing radiant it asks for you to export your lighting

I don't think you have to do that. I think it's an option to either export the lighting from Radiant, or do a recompile of the lighting in the launcher.

I tried reinstalling it twice, the second on another drive, and it still happens.... I'm assuming that it has to be a specific setting, because i don't think a bug wouldn't be so persistent.

Have you tried to export the light?

file-> export lighting

Can't hurt to try if you have not
