I've been trying to add a blanket of fog right above the ground for the whole floor of a room but found adding like 50 fx isn't the way to do it since they cause way too much performance loss, is there another way to do this?

use the fx! it seems like its repeating a bunch but when you deselect it and push the retrigger fxs button it will only show it playing without it playing 50 at once. So use richtofens fog fx or whatever its called and you will see what im talking about. *hint* if its too much just stop rendering the fx then render the fx when you placed it where you like.

Are you talking about radiant? If you are, radiant isn't the thing having performance problems it's when you are playing the map in-game.

I normally get a steady 90 fps on max settings with my frame cap at 90. When I added all the fx it went down by 30 fps and stuck around 60. That would be a big problem having fps go down so much without the other parts of the map even being complete yet.

tfw has +10 maps and only reason people notify of fog is due to one of them
