im new to map making but i was trying to make a map then i couldnt save it, or open up misc things. i want to know why it keeps doing this and how i can stop it thanks

When you installed the mod tools did you right click radiant properties and run as administrator. Also when you use for the first time i think you need to load a project file that will be in the map source folder. The maps are saved in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty World at War\map_source

They are saved as .map files , in that location.

When you said it wouldn't let your open up things what's the error it gave you? I'm going to take a giant guess and say you didn't open up launcher as admin.

In windows 7 i run everything as admin, it is difficult to provide a solution with such a vague explanation of the problem. What method or tutorial did you follow to create the map ? Which script placer and mods are you using? If it is radiant only not loading i would try right clicking it in the root folder , run in compatibility mode and run as admin. Make sure to apply those changes .

All the .exe files in that path i would recommend changing to admin and run compatibility. Also did you run converter the first time you ran launcher /radiant ?
