So I have some stairs going down to a new underground room in the update I'm working on for my map, and for some reason walking down them causes the player to lose his gun and swim for a couple seconds at one point on the stairs, yet there is no clip/brush/patch or anything there in Radiant that could cause this? Any Explanation?
It is just at one specific point on the map

Do you have dynamic water anywhere, especially higher than than the player? Dynamic water does that, even if not in that area. I was able to"fix" this by moving it further away from where I went below it.

Yeah I do have Dynamic water, a few around the map
I fixed it for now by moving the whole room to another section of the map, but Dynamic water can cause this?
Is it any specific position relative to the dynamic water or just random?

It's a specific distance away, and I don't know if height plays a part in the distance thing or not, I doubt it. Just if it is higher than the player.

Cool. If you ever played ils, let's go home, the second part at the house, where the water was around the house, blocked off by barricades. That was because I had to move the water that far away, to prevent swimming when in the basement. It actually worked out like I did it on purpose, lol, and probably looked better than I originally had it.

Yeh I told you when I added the dynamic water it might cause issues (another one you might need to test is the player walking into those dynamic water pools and falling out the map lol), if problems persist just swap the dynamic water for a different water texture, you will lose the ripples and stuff but that won't cause these annoying bugs.
