Alright I did it for you. If it takes an OP more than a week to mark an answer as best in the future, just use the report button on your answer with the reason "no best answer" and a moderator will take care of it.

That's exactly the problem. Red X's are disconnected path nodes.

Make sure you have developer set to either 1 or 2 because if you don't none of the other commands will take affect.

That's exactly the problem. Red X's are disconnected path nodes.
all my pathnodes are a red x there is nothing wrong with my pathnodes (there not in the ground there is no kvps)

wait what? ALL of your pathnodes are disconnected?  Are the nodes inside a solid object(brush)? If no then i'm out of ideas because the only two reasons(that i know of) that pathnodes would do this is either:

-No nearby nodes to connect to
-Node is within a solid object

And in both of these cases you'd get a whole crap load of errors saying such.
