I have thought about making maps and using public areas around my home as reference points. I have made maps like this, but never released them, because i wasn't sure if it would be legal to make an accurate 3D model of a public place.

In my current WIP TLSR, i have used my uncles farm as a reference for a large part of the map. and he said it was okay. But what i want too know is this "is it Illegal to make Maps referenced after Public places like parks, Restauraunts, and buildings(schools, and other such places).

ILS, Let's go home, is my work and my old house. I hesitate telling people at work that I made that map because of the security clearance required in some parts here, especially with those robots, that have been declassified, but it's not illegal if it is public.    That doesn't mean it won't upset someone, lol.

lol, no, not even close, but those robots have been there from what I have heard... or at least at one of the gates close to it.
