So yeah, looks very odd?



So I ported the model using Lime, and used the Xmodel that came out from that.

I got the anims from another user here, and dropped em straight in my raw file

converted

everything is perfect, except these random lines coming out of the gun? Someone mind pointing out what I did wrong please :)

I believe you issue is the model and not the animation.
I think tom's tool doesn't rig the raygun mark II properly, you need to re-rig the model in maya to properly rig all the vertices to the joints.

If he didn't bind the model then nothing would be animated... he only has a few vertices.

well thats how I fixed my issue, I was just using the converted model and it look all stretched probably because it was all just one model trying to be used in an animation idk, but once I finally started using maya and binding the weapons with the bind file it didnt do that anymore so thats how I fixed it

Like I said before, if you use the xmodel_export that lime or tom's utils rips, then the model for the rgm2 won't be rigged properly.

Also, this was the correct answer. The xmodel file provided by Lime isnt rigged correctlly. I dragged the bind over again and all is now ok :)
