how to do ambient music/sound?

Ok so i want to figure out when a player enters a certain room it plays some music/sound for example: I enter an outdoor area and i have a looping birds chirping or something like that

you could do it a few ways this is one.
1st option:

ive never done it ive only read this tutorial
options via script: you could do it via script using the call ambientPlay which will play an ambient sound. you could do this a couple of different ways im sure
1st script way: you could set it to test if a player is in a certain zone that the sound is played a the location of a script_struct
2nd script way: you also could probably just have a bunch of structs in your map in different locations and have each one continuously play the sound for that area.
those are some options but i honestly couldnt tell you which one would be the best option to use

There is a Tutorial made by Marsvinkingchecked it out but still didnt work his tutorial is buggy and so far it looks like none got it to work but him.

Theres a problem with the sound alias in that tutorial, the argument for vol_min is completely wrong. Change it to 0.9 or 1, should work then. Its got some very strange characters in there for some reason? Maybe a copy paste mistake

checked it out but still didnt work his tutorial is buggy and so far it looks like none got it to work but him.
Just helped him yesterday with it and he got it working when i gave him my sounds cuz he converted them the wrong way GG.
More TUTS out SOON

Just helped him yesterday with it and he got it working when i gave him my sounds cuz he converted them the wrong way GG.ya but this tutorial also helped as in his sound aliases had a better volume set for the ambient.
But Marsvinking helped me all the way
