So I saw a post asking about exporting Black Ops 2 textures and so I began wondering if you can export MW2 textures. Is this possible?

Yes you need to look in the IWDs in main, most, if not all the nml maps are broken so you will need to fix them/make your own. I used mostly MW2 textures in my map.

You need to convert the .iwi to .dds or .tga file and then convert it through Asset Manager. Theres plenty of tuts for that and ask, if you need help with it

yup ^ and when you convert it in Assman, theres a option to set it to appear in Radiant (this is because you wont want your gun textures and stuff in there, only the other textures like floors etc)

Surface type should be whatever you want the texture to be, so if it's glass put glass, etc. Usage and Locales need to be set so it will appear in Radiant (I assumed from this topic that you already knew how to make custom textures for Radiant) don't ask me why but I tend to put stuff in Tools

And dont use color map on normal/spec slots
Lol, missed that. Also is your door made from asphalt? ??? I just showed you my pic as a reference, you didn't have to copy it to the tee lol.
Only color map can be .dds file, others need to be .tga. And dont use color map on normal/spec slots
