I've changed the round end and round start sound, following DualVII 's tutorial, and I changed the sound of the Halo Magnum, but they are way too quiet. It's difficult to hear them over the other sounds.

I've tried amplifying the sounds in Audacity but that doesn't do much.

I've also tried changing the "min" and "max" volumes in the soundalias files that contain them.

The sounds work fine, they're just too quiet.  :derp:

'Twould be totally awesome if someone could help me with that!

ALSO

I would like to have custom powerup sounds, like when you pick it up and the voice says "MAX AMMOOO" and stuff.

ONE MORE THING

I want the Halo Magnum to be the default weapon rather than the m9, but when I change the weapon in _loadout.gsc (i think), the weapon doesn't show up when the map starts, BUT, I can still obtain it from the console. (laaame sauce!)

The soundalias would be beneficial.

I've also done stuff in the soundalias as well.

I just jacked the volumes way up in Audacity, and you can at least hear it over the zombies screaming and such.

But still it's like when the sound plays by itself, it sounds at a decent volume, but when the other sounds kick in it's just way louder and more clear.

Could it be a difference in making them 8 or 16 bit PCM?
I know that there is a quality difference in the two but, a tutorial said to just use 8 bit, and everyone else that i've seen uses 16.
