second thats not promoting, thats showing off the map/mod in a video form, not just a link to the channel itself.

reguardless of if you see the difference or not, there is one, the videos in the pages you linked are showing off the map/mod, nothing more, nothing making you need to go to that persons channel, its just an alternative to having images

How you perceive it is upto you. But there is a huge difference between directly flaunting a channel in a solicitous manner and using embedded YouTube videos for gameplay exhibiting a map or mod.

And in the future do not reply to a moderator's post in one thread to complain about something in a different thread. You can use the fairly distinct 'Report to moderator' button at the bottom of the respective post.

Looks pretty cool, nice to see some effort put into a one window challenge.

I hate to further continue the discussion, but really is that big of a deal - I mean if buttons for your youtube profile are on the left (in the posters info picture etc) as opposed to in the post.

He didn't really post them in a soliciting manner, he simply posted a link to his channel at the very bottom of the post, in tiny ass writing. He didn't make the thread to shamelessly plug. It's just a case of being picky ^^

Your concerns or opinions regarding my decision to omit the links are quite welcome. But not here. Titling the part where you express your opinion as

doesn't help matters. And however remotely he might have placed and however small a font he had it in, it is still soliciting however marginally so.
