Like, I double click CoDWaW.exe and nothing happens. The cursor changes from normal to loading, then normal again and nothing else happens.

In the task manager, CoDWaW.exe appears for 1-1.5 seconds, consuming 1.6-2.1 megabytes of ram and then closes on itself after the 1-1.5 seconds.

Here's what I've tried:

• Uninstalling and Reinstalling on a different Hard Drive
• Running in Win 7 compatibility mode & as Admin
• Changing my audio frequency to 24 bit 44100 Studio Quality - 16 bit 44100 CD Quality
• Reinstalling DX11
• Manual install - uninstall - reinstall of PunkBuster
• Adding the CoDWaW.exe to the the Data Execution Prevention

The annoying thing is that multiplayer works fine to me as an engine would to a car. It's literally just singleplayer that absolutely refuses to work with me.

C:\Users\<YOU>\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\<PLAYERNAME>\config.cfg
open it and set r_fullscreen to 0 and see what happens.

If anything else try T4M to see what it says.

Still, nothing happens. Harry has put it in this way "It seems like the game is crashing before it can even initialize."

Also known as no, no black screen, no title logo. It's like clicking on an application and..... nothing.

I say that coz he can see it start in task manager and instantly stop. Doesnt even bring up a splash screen before cutting off

Have you ran the DirectX installer that comes with the game? If not, run it from the game's directory.

Otherwise maybe try reinstalling the game. Maybe something didn't copy correctly.

Would it be beneficial to try and install the old 4.5 / 3.5 or something? Im gona guess not tho, assuming compatibility was added

I really have no idea what caused this for him, I mean doesnt even give splash screen. What if he tried your t4m thing maybe? You use the steam exe for that right?

If Sys_CreateSplash isn't showing then there's a whole other problem.
