So after work in my new map i always get this stupid error "MAX_SCENE_SURFS_SIZE(131072*2) exceeded - not drawing surface", so i re made the hole map with caulk and also make portals for it, and it dont work, so i started zombie_defender also in zombie defender i get the same error and it is a very small map so i delete a few things and it works perfectly.

Now when FreeFall release his map(Zombie_Cargo) i was totally impressed of the size of his map, so i decide to send him a PM asking if he add portals to his map, he tell me he dont know how to add portals and he never try it.  I try reinstalling the mod tools and i still having that error :(

So where is the real limit, why some maps have this limit and another dont?
Please somebody can help me?  :'(

i dont remember too well but i kind of remember that this problem is caused by having way to many structural brushes. try making all brushes in your map detail brushes

I'm pretty sure this error has nothing to do with portalling. I think it can be caused from an excessively large brush, or maybe like Rambo said too many structural brushes.
