When i right click and drag to pan on the 2D grid it drags waaay to far if i even move the mouse it will pan off the grid, please help i dont know how to fix it

Does it move when your making the brush? press P in radiant and remove Mouse Chaser it wont move the 2D view if making brushes outside or longer then the 2d view also an option called "Fast 2d view dragging" untick that whatever it is it never made any difference for me so useless to have in the first place.
