I created two maps over the past few months. After compiling them, I couldn't start them. When I type it into the console (I've tried /map nazi_zombie_firstmap, /devmap nazi_zombie_firstmap, and I've tried loading the map through a custom menu) nothing happens. These are some of the errors I've been receiving while compiling :

ERROR: physics preset 'bÍa' not found
ERROR: physics preset '…ob' not found
ERROR: physics preset '!Áa' not found




Other errors were denied access errors :




ERROR: Access to the path 'C:UsersAlexAppDataLocalActivisionCodWaWmodsusermapsimages.iwd' is denied.




I manually moved the denied access files from my directory (C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonCall of Duty World at Warmods) to the denied location (C:UsersAlexAppDataLocalActivisionCodWaWmods). Is this what I am supposed to do? I'm on vista. I can run maps I've downloaded from this map, but I can't run maps that I've compiled myself, even if it is the default map. Please help! This has been bugging me forever. I've already made two maps that I can't test because of this. I've tried loading it with a custom menu, through the console with both /devmap and /map. And yes, I have the mod loaded when I do this. I've tried all the maps i've made. I've compiled, re-compiled, re-re-compiled, etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Denied Access errors can be left alone, doesnt matter, if they are there

To "fix" your access is denied errors, you need to right click on codwaw root folder and untick read only. Do the same for the mods directory.

Those mods folder is located at C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\mods btw. As for your other erros I've never seen them before maybe their normal errors?

how to find the appdata folder if not getting shown:

open the pc's main HDD open users folder name of pc then click on view then options "change folder and search options" click on the view tab "hidden files and folder" tick "show hidden files folders and drives" click on apply then ok appdata folder is now there
