Hey guys I've looked all over the internet but can't seem to find anyone who has uploaded the BO weapon sounds...
I know someone is going to tell me extract them from BO but I don't own it so I can't... So does anyone know were I can get all the weapon sound suppressed and unsuppressed? Thanks!

In all seriousness it would save me a lot of hassle if someone who has the sounds would be kind enough to upload them to drop box or something...

Isn't still illegal to upload the sounds since there assets, idk I hear different things since it has mod tools and all

The Mod Tools require you to buy the game, so redistributing them would probably be illegal and is against forum rules.

But if that's the case using black ops assets in waw is illegal...

They're Activision-owned property using them under the same engine and same license holder is allowed.

I was planning on using them in Call of Duty 2 so that should be legal...

Since they are packed into FF and you're not distributing the assets raw you're perfectly fine.

Anyway I didn't want any misunderstanding on how I was going to use the sounds... and yeah next time Black ops goes on sale on steam I probably pick it up.

Isn't it against the rules to share actual weapon sounds from the game if you're doing it publicly? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's alright as long as I'm doing it privately.
