I was getting a lot of insults pretty much by other people because of my modding. They keep comparing me to the other dude that made guns wrong, which my guns are top notch. So I was thinking that once I quit, I may move to the tech tuber side which is what I'm dedicating to in majority of my time.

If I were you, you shouldn't even give a shit about what they say. Look I am still a noobie at scripting but I am learning a lot about programming, mapping and modding in general. I do this as a hobby and it should stay as a hobby. Just take the best out of it and make something cool with your friends or other modders that shares the same dream. I don't think you are bad at stuff and I hope you continue this.

I am curious, are you a mapper, programmer or weapon importer?
