Ever since this morning, I couldn't get on to WaW online to play on cooperative. Any ideas as to why? It worked fine last night...

My first guess was that too many people played Comosea at the same time causing an overload of some sort, though that can't be right ...

As much as I wish it was because of Comosea, Activision's official statement is that the storms brought down their servers, which are located on the East Coast (wtf, they are a West Coast company).

Lol, yeah I just read that a moment ago , well I guess it's time for Tunngle to come into play... Which will bring new problems like Challenges and Character Customization not working for Comosea. X( I couldn't see their options this morning when I went to play.

They work, you just can't view the Challenge list or customize your character right now

Of course it will, the Black Ops servers are in the same place - they can't just ignore it. There's millions of people on the East Coast without power - I doubt a server farm for videogames is a high priority for power consumption.

not too many people play online anyway, usually 12 Zombie servers and less than 500 people play multiplayer at any time.

If i was Activision i wouldn't waste the money on getting the servers back on when people could use programs like Tunngle to play with each other.

For me I cannot even play with tunngle. My world at war refuses to use any username because it cannot connect to online. Maybe because I have disc version but i don't know

i think you need lanfix. it's the same as the normal .exe but allows for offline LAN Gameplay and bypasses steam (if you have it) while still giveing you the option to play online.

I think our file host may be experiencing some trouble now too...
