UGX mod on BO3 mod tools?

I'm sure there are already a few topics for this but i wanted too make one for myself.

One of the ony things about the UGX mod that i liked was the elemental PaPing But now after playing shadows of evil and unlocking the pap for myself, there would be no need for it as there is elemental paping already and you can get all of the elements in one weapon. Is there really a need for the UGX mod in BO3? are you still going too inplement it? A finally if in the off chance its possible too port all maps too the new mod tools, will you attempt too port requiem into BO3? and if so will you keep the UGX mod or just work around it and make a new version of it but with the BO3 stuff? thats all i wanted too know. im now late for work.... shit!

I doubt anyone at UGX has considered anything about what you just said. V.1.1 isn't even officially out yet for Gawd sakes.

And the BO3 tools (God forbid) may not even be a thing, and we don't know what we will get if they are, or what's possible and what's not. How the hell would they decide this stuff now?

He is about a year in advance with thoughts . Although the news of mod tools has changed my thoughts on making another map on waw or waiting for new tools . Or if the .maps will be compatible with the new mod tools .
From my small scripting knowledge I could guess a lot of the stuff we have for waw will be incompatible and will need adapting to the new tools anyway . They may be the same mod tools as for black ops where no mapping tools included ( makes little sense )   but they could be the mod tools they refer to .

youd be surprised, even if its is, changing it isnt gonna be too hard. We easily port to and from all the others, and people have always been injecting scripts into those we are not supposed to mod. GSC is GSC. Just the "extra" functionality or minor changes we need to adapt too, not start over so-to-speak

as for porting the maps, as long as we have access to the old map format and the new, theres no reason if support doesnt already exist - that someone could make a program to convert it. Its all data at the end of the day

The main point is tho a lot of our old work will be "unnecessary", and therefore wont need making from custom

So if they do make a new UGX mod - itll be just that - a new ugx mod, not 1.1 ported

I think ugx mod was originally create to exceed the limitations of waw and make something that could be impossible in waw, exist. I really doubt the ugx team would ever work on ugx mod for bo3, as everything is there.
