My state is one of the safest in the entire country, because everybody has at least one handgun, rifle or shotgun. The only people desperate or dumb enough too attempt a robbery are drug addicts and the occasional joy rider looking for a cheap thrill.  Not too mention that the last gun related death was 5 years ago, when a rifle hangfired and the guy didn't wait long enough, and it went off and hit the guy next too him.

Media has always beaten around the bush and slaughtered more people than actuall murderers just with their lies and slander.  Never trust what the media says about anything, because chances are its filled with: "crap eyewitness reports and false statements". The media doesn't care if its true or not because, they are not trying too bring you the news. they are trying to get you too watch/read their story. Whether or not it's true just as long as its believable. One such tactic is edited "eyewitness" videos, where they show only the part where a kid gets shot, and not the part where the kid brutally beat a woman too death with baseball bat. And now peple are blaming guns for the death of their son. Now im not saying that the media is all bad, but most of it is complete bullshit. Especially intercontinental stuff, all the news you see about america in other countries is racism, school shootings, and rape.

Now guns are dangerous. Dont get me wrong, they are very dangerous, one misstep and either you or a loved one could die in an accident. But that doesn't mean that a gun is responsible for that persons death it was the persons fault. All gun related deaths can be prevented. Always keep your weapon pointed in a safe direction, no matter what. Don't swing it around, like a drunken retard. If you get a hangfire, keep the gun pointed at the target, and wait 60-90 seconds till you open the bolt or cycle a new round. And don't use bullets that don't fire. Use the right calibre for your weapon, don't mix and match bullet grains, or different brass types. Always keep your weapon on safety until you are ready too fire, etc. Even ricochets can be prevented. You know just use common sense when carrying or using a firearm.

If you don't want your unstable, retarded, shut in, teenager too steal your gun, then hide it. get a gun locker or better yet, don't keep it loaded, with the safety off in your kitchen drawer. And maybe sign your child up for couseling or i don't know try and include them in your lives. Most cases where a child goes full psychopath and murders people is because, they are ignored by their family and have no friends. And are looking too get attention. Or the friends they do have completey ignore them and only use them. So the kid gets revenge. 90% of deaths can be prevented by the parents or even you. If you see a guy walking down the street, and he seems kind of off give him a smile or go talk too him. Sometimes all people want is somebody too talk or vent on. And some guy they've never met and don't know can sometimes be just what they are looking for.

If you are really gung ho about banning all guns and irradicating them. then hopefully when you are in a bank/pharmacy and its getting robbed. Hopefullly the 5 other men or women in that room who used too have a concelaed carry license. Don't blame you for the deaths of the hostages. In 1995 in a pharmacy in my home town Pocatello, idaho. there was an armed robbery. It was solved in 5 seconds when the jackass surrendered when 5 people including the owner, my amazing grandfather pulled out handguns. And it was over, the guy dropped the gun, and put both his hands in the air. And it was done. yet another crime solved by the civilians, and their trusty concealed carry licenses.

Lets step back a minute and actually learn why the 2nd amendment even exists and what its actual purpose is. Believe it or not, the purpose of the 2nd amendment is not because of hunting, its not because of "recreation", its not even about personal protection. Although these things are a good reason in favor of guns, this is not the main reason that the 2nd amendment was included in the beginning of America. Lets take a look and break down what the 2nd amendment actually means.

The 2nd amendment reads:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

So what does this mean? You might think this means that America should have an army to protect and serve the country. While this is true, this is NOT the definition of the 2nd amendment. The true meaning of this ammendment, and the very reason why it was included in the constitution, is to prevent the government from having too much power. Basically to prevent tyranny. You know, like what we were trying to escape from King George for. So this was added by the writers of the constitution to prevent america becoming the very thing that it was trying to escape from.

This is why people who say "Police have guns, why do we need them?" are wrong. If only the government have guns, what is to stop them from taking over the country and becoming a tyranny. Remember the holocaust? All the people that Hitler were trying to exterminate were unarmed. Did the police protect them?...

This is the same reason why George Washington turned down to offer to be Americas "King". He knew what would happen if there was one ultimate ruler and then we would be no better that the people that we fought against in the Revolutionary War. Ultimate power leads to corruption. And an America without armed civilians will become just that, corrupt.

Washington knew that one day the very government he fought to establish would become a monster that would seek to eliminate the Constitution and our freedom.
