Hey guys I'm looking for some people to play custom zombies with me on Tunngle.  When I do play its usually 12am to 5am pst. Yeah I know more people play on steam but I don't care much for it...meaning I don't use it anymore.

So you speculate anyone who uses Tunngle must be a pirate?  Yes probably the majority of the players do use cracked games but that doesn't mean everyone. I don't like being accused of something I didn't do. I don't use steam as a matter of preference and  opinion.  My version of the game is retail I long since misplaced the CD key. So I don't think there's is any problem in someone who bought the game using a legend because the lost their original CD key. So next time sir could you please be more careful in judging someone so quickly? Enough said.

The games I did play when I used steam did I think...I get... It must be like CoD4 the way servers are set up...so does that mean retail versions still work with their retail CD key? If so that would mean I don't have to buy the Steam version of WaW?

As long as Activision servers are up to validate the key, they will work.

hes right, theres only one reason to use tunngle

Cod 5 is available on Steam OR CD key - As steam did not even exist at the time the game was made

Hence why even on the steam version, you need to create a profile in WaW and give your player name to some one else to add - Because it doesnt support "steam friends"

The service itself ( tungle ) is "illegitimate" in anycase, regardless of if its used with a "legal" version of the game, please dont ask about that here in future

How the hell is Tunngle "illegitimate"??? There's nothing wrong with playing a LAN Party game with others who MAY have a pirated version. This "UGX offers no support for pirated versions" thing doesn't count for people who only wanna play together! It's to prevent help topics from people like "how do i make an online profile with cracked waw" or "Where can I download V1.7 LAN Fixed.exe.

Come on, this guy is just here to ask for other players ans he immediatly gets called a pirate, gets redirected to a rule he didn't even break and gets told to never talk about  it on UGX again? Don't act too strict, this forum is ment to be fun for everyone!
