So I built myself a new PC and is working fine. My old PC was 32bit, that's the one backed up my root folder from. My new PC is 64bit and I was just wondering if I should reinstall W@W via steam first before putting all of my stuff back onto it, such that I would replace the 64bit install of W@W. Or should I do it the other way round, getting all my stuff back and then installing the game.

I wanna be sure before I start restoring my mapping set up, so that I don't mess everything up  :D.

Here's the specs for my new build... if anyone cares:

Spoiler: click to open...

I didn't even know World at War had different versions.  :gusta:

Anyway, i'd personally download the game, install mod tools, and then copy over what you need from your old computer.

Community Mapper Has released one or more maps to the UGX-Mods community which have been added to the UGX Map Manager.
It doesn't have different versions as it came out before the 64bit technology was standard.

EDIT: neither have the most newer games, I'm not sure why but it seems not to have such a big effect on games.

It doesn't, which is why it installs to Program Files (x86) on x64 computers. There's no 64bit exe and no 64bit exe patches that I've ever seen so I don't think one exists.
